Parking

Guests are encouraged to park at the UMKC Oak Parking Garage, just a short walk from Theis Park. Please use levels 2 and above—no parking is allowed on level one of the garage. We also ask that guests avoid parking in the nearby residential neighborhoods, including Locust Street, Pierce Street, and E. 47th Terrace, out of respect for local residents. We’re hopeful the new KC Streetcar extension will be completed by then, making public transit a fun and easy option. The park is also a short walk from the Country Club Plaza for anyone wanting to explore before or after the event.
